Delete your SIC account

You can delete your account yourself, in the app or here. Any membership or recurring gift is stopped first, so nothing is charged again; then the account is removed. It cannot be undone.

In the SIC app: You → Settings → Account → Delete account. If your membership was never paid, use Delete my account on the membership screen.

What is deleted

Your profile, photo and sign-in
Your membership, setup answers and settings
Your reading progress, highlights, bookmarks and saved threads
Your service log, proposals, reservations and Council ballots
Your notifications and the files you uploaded

What is kept

Discussions, replies and room messages you wrote stay, without your name.
Records of donations you made are kept for SIC's financial records, as charity accounting requires.

Contributions already made are nonrefundable.

For your protection, an account can only be deleted by its owner, signed in, with its password.
